Mission
The Official Democratic Black Caucus of Macomb County was formed in early 2011 with the mission of
- Supporting and promoting African Americans for political office;
- Promoting pro-African American policies;
- Addressing the political concerns of the African American community;
- Educating African Americans about political issues.
purpose
The purpose of the caucus shall be to:
- Educate and promote the interests and concerns of Macomb County black residents;
- Promote the ideals and principles of the Democratic Party,
- Elect Democrats, good government, and democracy.
Membership
Our membership includes every race, color, and creed living and dwelling within Macomb County. Any person residing in Macomb County having an interest in the objectives of the caucus shall be eligible to apply for membership.
